7 Pot Bubblegum Red
Developed by Jon Harper, the 7 Pot Bubblegum is a cross between a Red Moruga Scorpion and a Trinidad Yellow 7 Pot. This pepper is known for its color that creeps/bleeds from the pepper itself into calyx and stem as it ages. Harper named it Bubblegum, supposedly because he thought it tasted like bubblegum. The heat alone makes it a challenge to pick up on the subtle tones of sweetness.
